Susano Vs. Yamata-No-Orochii
Susano Vs. Yamata-No-Orochii
Something happens to my art everytime I don’t paint for a while…I get better or atleast I think I did. My theory is my brain is trying to figure out how to paint again and remembering the ones that works:P
Problem with painting sometimes is that, It’s not a guarantee you’ll progress because it’s quite possible you are doing the same mistakes again and again for some habits that aren’t good became a routine and part of the process.
To me it’s like my mind installed updates, needs to shutdown and after re-booting makes for a better version. Not saying I’m there, but doing it was “serene” OR maybe I just had a convuluted mind before:/ Anyway still a WIP
Laundry and Interview. So few hours spent on this. But I WILL FINISH IT!
How Cool is “Gradient Map”!
This is a great coloring tool. Now the real grunt work is underway because I feel it was a mistake to render it in graphite and now have to re-paint it all over again. Maybe next time I’ll just stick with greyscale markers because it allows better transition from trad to digital.
I hope to correct many mistakes along the way as well.
It cuts the time reworking average lights and high lights. Truly a time saver and I’m thinking going back to grey scale. Problem before is you have to rework the lights you’ve established in greys if you set a new layer on “color”.
Thanks for the link, Wil!
Study for today. Must post to stop working on it hehe.
